Raising a note of caution, Islamic Students League patron Shakeel Bakshi Saturday said that the trend of importing religious scholars and preachers from India and other countries for delivering sermons in different religious conferences, in Kashmir by local religious parties, institutions and school of thoughts is a matter of serious concern.

Though in times of peace such parleys are worthy for the betterment of society, and provide a good opportunity, but when we are under foreign occupation, striving and engaged in our battle of survival such exercises seem part of a larger conspiracy crafted by the rulers of Delhi.

ISL Patron said that Delhi and its policy makers are engaged and planning against our freedom struggle on multi fronts, to keep their forcible occupation intact and to dilute our sentiment and commitment towards movement. They are already on job – politically, militarily, diplomatically, on educational, economical and cultural fronts, and from last few years they have added this sectarian religious factor to their list of fronts; and our religious organizations and institutes seem to play along intentionally or unintentionally.

Bakshi said that ,Given our religious sentiments and love of Ulema, New Delhi has crafted a well thought out plan to use religion for the design of integration and has made it a continuous process. It is under this process that these religious scholars are being exported here and their activities here are appreciated. We should not forget this bitter truth that on one side when we have restrictions on the freedom of speech and expression, we are barred from attending the funerals of our beloved ones, we are not allowed to offer Friday prayers, but on the other hand scores of Ulema and other religious scholars are provided assistance to travel and whole state machinery is activated to make these conferences a success. In these conferences and seminars the esteemed guests deliver knowledgeable sermons but always fail to utter a word or two against the occupational atrocities being committed in the length and breadth of this subjugated land, instead overtly or covertly they suggest subjugated lot to shun the path of their just struggle.
ISL Patron further Said that History is witness to this fact that this is not first time Delhi Durbar is using religious scholars and Ulema for its designs. In past they have used the services of Moulana Abul Kalam Azad, elder Syed Ahmed Bukhari and Moulana Waheed ud Deen Khan for the same purpose in regard of Kashmir.
Given the disputed nature of Kashmir, facilitating and organizing All India Level and International Level conferences in Kashmir should be seen and understood in this back ground. As natives of Jammu Kashmir and as part and parcel of freedom movement, it is duty and responsibility of all religious organizations, institutions and all school of thoughts to revisit and rethink their strategy regarding this particular process and stop being contributing in implementation of occupational designs of Delhi. Kashmir has enough Religious potential that can be offered by ‘Ulema e Haq’ though not ‘Ulma e Sue’.

Terming the ban on pro Kashmir books related to history and resistance of the people of Jammu Kashmir by President of Azaad Kashmir  Vide 0rder No Home/ H-2(13)15/Admin dated 24th feb 2016  highly unfortunate and disheartening   Islamic Students League Patron Shakeel  Bakshi has said that such kind of diktats reflect  the in sensitivity and immaturity of Government of Azad Kashmir vis a vis the collective sentiment of people of Jammu Kashmir their history and resistance and amounts to hurting the moral of nation on the whole. Such kind of decisions could not be termed but suppression and oppressive and meant to deprive the present and coming generations of their rich historical roots and heroic generational resistance against tyranny of different ages. When we are in crucial stages of our freedom struggle it seems that the leadership of Azaad Kashmir who are supposed to act as responsible leadership of base camp for freedom struggle and try their best to strengthen the same has turned against very foundations of same and through their words and deeds are resorting to cause great damages to it. Shakeel Bakshi said.

Live and vibrant nations strive hard to preserve their history specially the history of resistance and make all possible efforts to transfer it to next   generations as history acts as a guiding source to build better future as a nation and groom next generations through knowledge, experiences and intellect but in total and shocking contrast we are trying to pave the way for permanent disconnect between past, present and future and making generations to come orphans in this regard.  Shakeel Bakshi further added.

It is need of hour that, academia and intelligentsia of Jammu Kashmir in particular raise to the occasion and raise their voices against such damaging decisions.

 Srinagar, January 12 (GNS): Islamic Students League (ISL) patron Shakeel Ahmed Bakhshi on Tuesday stated that altering the status of Gilgit Baltistan by Pakistan amounts to back stabbing the people of Kashmir and the move is a part of a “well planned conspiracy”. In a statement issued to GNS, Bakshi said before the division of the State of Jammu Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Leh-Kargil and Gurez was one united province of erstwhile State. “First Gurez was separated from the province to turn Muslims of ladakh into minority on sectarian lines. Now by altering the status of Gilgit Baltistan, road is being cleared to gift Ladakh fully to India. To alter the status of Gilgit Baltistan, which is rich in culture and heritage, loaded with huge natural resources with vast tourism potential and famous for International Silk Route, amounts to depriving people of Jammu Kashmir of political, cultural and economical rights,” he said. He further said that to fiddle with this status of Gilgit Baltistan is same like New Delhi granting Ladakh Autonomous Hill Council which will ultimately lead to union territory status for Ladakh. This give and take policy seems to way ahead for further divisions of State, he said. “The situation points towards this burning fact that the rulers of India and Pakistan through back door channel and track two diplomacy have agreed on a conspiracy to divide erstwhile state of Jammu Kashmir among themselves and unfortunately the responsibility of starting this process has been given to the Government of Pakistan for breaking the resolve and commitment of people of Jammu Kashmir through a friendly government. As to annex Gilgat Baltistan from Jammu Kashmir from Pakistan side is a clear signal to Government of India to do same in the part occupied by it,he said. The ISL patron claimed that the second step of this “conspiracy would be granting complete provincial status of Azad Kashmir”. “And, in this way they have agreed to roll back freedom struggle of the people of Jammu Kashmir,” he said. Bakhshi cautioned that before this “conspiracy is implemented by Indo-Pak rulers and their yes-men across the line, it is important for the sincere pro-freedom leadership and people of Jammu Kashmir, ‘Azad’ Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan to reaffirm their commitment towards the freedom struggle and tell both India and Pakistan to restrain from such conspiracies as they will not allow any individual group or state to flirt with the freedom movement and huge sacrifices of people of Jammu Kashmir. “The state of Jammu Kashmir as existed on 14 Aug 1947 is on the whole a disputed territory according to relevant UN resolutions; by separating one part of the erstwhile state and absorbing it in another country amounts to huge treachery with the sacrifices of Kashmiris. Islamic Students League wants to make it clear that such conspiracies would be opposed tooth and nail and this time the sacred freedom movement would not be allowed to be bartered like Tashkent, Shimla Agreement or Indra-Abdullah accord,” the ISL patron vowed. Act as key players, not consultants; Bakshi to pro-freedom camp 
Says any thrusted solution from external forces unacceptable to people 
Srinagar, Aug 22: Asking Kashmir’s pro-freedom camp to remain cautious over the latest developments taking place at the International level, ISL patron Shakeel Ahmad Bakshi said on Saturday that any solution thrusted by the Islamabad, New Delhi or Washington will be unacceptable to the people in Kashmir.
Bakshi while commenting over the recent handout over Kashmir issued by UN Secretary General and America’s state department in a backdrop of the proposed NSA level talks between India and Pakistan, said that as the world community’s support to Kashmir’s just struggle is worth to hail but the leadership here must remain cautious. “It has to be seen whether such a sudden interest is aimed for some sell out instead of the resolution of Kashmir dispute,” Bakhsi said.
He added that the external forces must remember that the people of Kashmir are the the prime stakeholders of the dispute while other nations have a mere secondary role. “To term this dispute as a bilateral one is un utter disgrace to the immense sacrifices rendered by the people of Kashmir and tantamount to eroding the historic significance of this dispute. The present resistance movement in Kashmir nourished by people’s blood is not for the mere ‘consultative’ role but for playing a key role,” Bakhsi said.
The ISL patron remarked that no solution thursted by Islamabad, Washington and New Delhi will be acceptable to the people of Kashmir and people here have in them the courage to dismiss any such move with the fearless action.  
He said the states have their own priority to talk terror while the people here strive to entry the tyranny imposed on them since decades. “To exhibit euphoria over inclusion of K word and dismay over skipping it by India and Pakistan during the formal meetings is against the very principals of the resistance movement of Kashmir,” Bakshi said, adding that the agenda and time frame for Kashmir’s complete freedom and withdrawal is in normality inevitable.
Bakshi reminded the pro-freedom leadership that their mandate isn’t for being the mere helpers to smoothen the Indo-Pak relations but to represent the aspirations of their own nation with utmost sincerity.  “The five points resolved by both the countries at UFA aren’t Kashmir centric at all but to facilitate the measures against terrorism, DGMOs decisions, release of the fishermen, promote pilgrimage tourism and collaboration in trail related Mumbai attacks,” Bakshi said.
The ISL patron stated that the present concern displayed by Pakistan over inclusion of Kashmir in talks is appreciable at the same time, the country must also hold itself accountable to what led to the deletion of K word from the agenda.

بخشی نے کہا اس تحریک کو پاک وہند کے درمیان دو فریقی مسئلہ قرار دینا نہ صرف  جموں کشمیر عوام کی نصف صدی سے زیادہ قربانیاں اور جدوجہد کی توہین ہے  
شکیل بخشی نے واضع کہا واشنگٹن و اسلام آباد یا دہلی کی  طرف سے ٹھونسے گئے کسی بھی ممکنہ حل کو قبول نہیں کریں گے  اور ایسی کسی سازش کا ڈٹ کر مقابلہ کرنے کی اہلیت رکھتے ہیں. انہوں نے مزید کہا موجودہ خونیں تحریک کسی 'مشاورتی'  رول کیلئے نہیں بلکہ کلیدی رول کیلئے ہیں. نمائندے کسی کے مشیر نہیں  بلکہ اپنے مظلوم عوام کے پُر اثر وکیل ہے. 
بخشی نے کہا ریاستوں کو اپنے ایجنڈے یعنی Terror دہشت گردی کی فکر ہے جبکہ نان ریاستوں یعنی عوام کو Tyranny ظلم وجبر کے خاتمے کی فکر اولین ہے  انہوں نے کہا قائدین کی کسی ریاستی ایجنڈے میں شرکت یا کسی دو فریقی  میٹنگ یا اعلان نامے  میں صرف لفظ 'کشمیر'  کو  شامل کرنے پر  بغلیں بجانا یا نہ  کرنے پر ناک چڑھانا کسی بھی طرح تحریکی تقاضے نہیں ہے  انہوں نے کہا  جبتک نہ کشمیر کی  مکمل آزادی اور غیر ملکی افواج کی انخلاء کیلئے ایجنڈے اور نظام الاوقات لازمی جز ہوتا ہے.  مذاکرات کی آڑ میں ظلم وجبر کو کھلی ڈھیل مل گئی خاصکر کم سن بچوں کو تھرڑ ڈگری ٹاچر اور پیلٹ سے ناکارہ و اپاہج بنایا جاتا ہیں. 
انہوں نے کہا یو ایف او میں جن پانچ  نکاتی ایجنڈے  یعنی دہشت گردی، ڈی جی ام او فیصلہ جات،  مچھیروں کی رہائی، زیارتی سیاحت، بمبئی اٹیک ٹرائل میں تعاون ، پر ہی موجودہ میٹنگ کا تسلسل ہے جو کشمیر سنٹک نہیں ہے 
انہوں نے زور دے کر کہا کہ آج کے تصحیح ی پریس بریفنگ،  سے ماضی کے فاش ہزیمت شدہ معاہدے، مشترکہ اعلامیہ، منظورشدہ حقیقتیں تبدیل نہیں ہو سکتے ہیں،.

گلگت بلتستان کوپاکستانی صوبہ بنانا تباہ کن: شکیل بخشی سرینگر//اسلامک اسٹوڈنٹس لیگ سرپرست اعلی شکیل احمد بخشی نے کہاہے کہ گلگت بلتستان اور پاکستانی زیر انتظام آزادکشمیر کو صوبہ بنانے کی کسی بھی عمل کو تحریک آزادی کےلئے انتہائی تباہ کن ہوگا۔ انہوں نے کہا جن ہاتھوں کو اس مقدس تحریک کی پشت پناہی کا دعوی ہے وہی ہاتھ درپردہ اس تحریک کی اساسی بنیادوں کو کھوکھلا کرنے پر تلے ہوئے ہیں۔ انہوں نے حکومت پاکستان کے اس طرح کے فیصلے نہ صرف مسئلہ کشمیر کے حوالے سے اقوام متحدہ میں کیس وقراردادوں کو ناقابل تلافی نقصان پہنچا نے کا باعث ہونگے بلکہ یہ تحریک آزادی کشمیر کے پیٹھ میں خنجر گھونپنے کے مترادف ہوگا ۔ شکیل بخشی نے کہا کہ قراردادوں کا اطلاق اگست ما قبل کی پوزیشن متحدہ جموں وکشمیر پر ہوتا ہے اور الگ کرنے کا کوئی بھی عمل اپنے پاو ¿ں پر کلہاڑی مارنے کے مترادف ہوگا۔ انہوں نے کہاکہ اس بات کی بھونڈی کوشش ماضی میں بٹو متوفی نے بھی ناکام کوشش کی تھی۔ انہوں نے کہاکہ ریاست کی کسی بھی ترکیبی ہیئت کو تبدیل کرنے کی کوشش کی سخت مزاحمت کی جائے گی۔

غیر ضروی بیان بازی سے پرہیز کیاجائے: شکیل بخشی

سرینگر// اسلامک سٹوڈنٹس لیگ کے سرپرست اعلیٰ شکیل احمد بخشی نے اپنے ایک بیان میں کہا ہے کہ موجودہ تحریکی صورتحال عسکری اور سیاسی قیادت سے تقاضا کرتی ہے کہ وہ معاملات کی تہہ میں جائے بغیر اور حالات و واقعات کی گہرائی سے چھان بین کئے بغیر غیر ضروری بیان بازی سے پر ہیز کریں اور سر بازار آنے کی بجائے آپس میں افہام و تفہیم سے معاملات طے کریں ۔انہوں نے کہا کہ سیاسی قیادت کیلئے بہتر رہتا کہ وہ عسکری زیر زمین معاملات پر لب کشائی کرنے سے پرہیز کرتے اور اپنے دائرہ کار میں رہتے ہوئے سیاسی سطح پر بھارتی عزائم اور منصوبوں کے خلاف تحریک آزادی کو منظم اور مربوط کرنے میں اپنی قوتوں کو صرف کرتے ۔بیان کے مطابق جہاں تک عسکری قیادت کا تعلق ہے وہ اخباری بیانات کی بنیاد پر اپنا فیصلہ صادرکرنے کی بجائے اپنے با اعتماد ذرائع کو بروے کار لاکر براہ راست تحقیق کرنے کے بعد ہی معاملات پر اپنی رائے قائم کرتے۔
